The private session dedicated to regional initiatives within the “STEP Platform” aims to provide participants with an opportunity to discuss:
- gain a deeper understanding of the strategic and operational framework of the STEP Platform, with particular reference to its objectives, target technologies and implementation methods
- highlight the contribution of regional programmes and calls for proposals in supporting STEP-oriented projects across the entire innovation value chain – providing concrete evidence of the results achieved through regionally funded projects
- compare the experiences and roles of Italian regions in the processes of planning, identifying, selecting and supporting projects
- highlight points for reflection useful for strengthening the multi-level governance of European policies and shared views on the value of regional governance as a fundamental lever for policy effectiveness.
