2026 FIRST® Community Conference
June 9-11, 2026
Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown
Join us for the annual FIRST® Community Conference. This conference will bring together stakeholders across multiple programs, sponsors, organizations and staff from Headquarters to address integration and implementation of the programs to better connect the FIRST community. Join us as we share and celebrate FIRST.

Come for Philadelphia. Stay for Philly.
Philadelphia is where America began. It’s where the Founding Fathers made history. It’s America’s first UNESCO World Heritage City. It’s about diversity and innovation, pretzels and cheesesteaks, Betsy Ross and Ben Franklin.

But Philly? Philly is the murals and street art that decorate each neighborhood. Philly is a food scene that’s not just award-winning — it’s game-changing. Philly is where “Go Birds” is a greeting, and love is a way of life.

Philadelphia wrote America’s story. Philly is where you’ll write yours.
Our organizational statements are more than words on a page; they encapsulate our promise to build a thriving global robotics community and to remain at the very forefront of STEM education.

This session is designed specifically for U.S.-based partners, with a focus on navigating the federal and state policy landscape within the United States.

We’ll explore practical ways to bring elected officials into the FIRST community—from hosting Members of Congress at events to building relationships with state leaders—and talk through how to turn those moments into meaningful, long-term support. It’s also a space to dig into state-specific opportunities, whether that’s advancing CTE policy, expanding afterschool funding, or exploring new partnerships that can help your programs grow.

You can also use this time to learn more about FIRST’s federal advocacy efforts and how national work connects back to your local goals. Bring your team, your questions, and your ideas—whether you’re curious about where to start or ready to brainstorm next steps.

International Program Delivery Partners (outside the U.S. and Canada) will spend time networking with colleagues. Whether you're a new partner or you're a seasoned veteran, when faced with a new challenge, often there's nothing more helpful than a peer to talk to. Get a chance to hear how colleagues have tackled challenges in the past and provide advice to colleagues on current issues. Through structured activities, small-group brainstorming, and discussion, we'll make sure you have time to talk about the big questions on your mind. Most importantly, this is a chance to hear different voices and meet someone new. We hope you walk away from these sessions with new ideas and new connections.
