Vinnie Rodino serves as the Senior Director of School Engagement and Education at FIRST, where he works closely with school districts, educators, state education agencies, FIRST^®program staff, and delivery partners to create and implement educational strategies, content, curricula, and professional development programs. His efforts focus on increasing access to the FIRST® experience for students worldwide. Vinnie has experience as a FIRST^®LEGO League coach and as a mentor for FIRST^®Robotics team 782, the Kilowatts. Prior to his role at FIRST, he led teams in advanced industries such as high-speed optical communications, flight and guidance control systems, garment and apparel, and ultra-high-energy fiber lasers
