Uday Devalla, EVP, Chief Technology Officer for Sagent, has led technology transformation, digital technology development, information security management, and regulatory compliance strategy in the housing industry for more than two decades. Most recently, Uday led an enterprise-wide technology transformation program as Senior Managing Director & Chief Information Officer at Stearns Lending, America’s fifth-largest wholesale and retail mortgage lender. His strategic vision modernized Stearns' technology stack and resulted in industry-wide recognition as one of the most digitally-enabled mortgage banking firms. Prior to that, he served as a technology executive at Bank of America’s mortgage banking unit, Countrywide Home Loans, where he developed and implemented the organization’s 3-year and 5-year technology roadmaps.
