Eric Kramp is senior vice president of national sales and relationship management, leading sales and executive relationship engagement for Assurant’s Global Housing lender-placed insurance and loss draft businesses. In this role, he drives the evolution of engagement with existing clients and prospective clients. Eric brings the client’s voice back to Assurant’s development of strategic objectives, product development, and performance management. He joined the Global Housing business team in 2024.

Prior to joining Assurant, Eric spent 25 years driving strategy and execution in mortgage servicing. His experiences include executive leadership roles at both mortgage servicers as well as vendors that support mortgage operations. Most recently, Eric was executive head of mortgage servicing for USAA, where he was responsible for all servicing operations, contracts, third-party oversight, first line of defense risk-management programs, controls design and implementation, P&L, operating performance, and customer satisfaction. During his career in mortgage servicing, Eric led bank and non-bank servicers, primary and sub-servicers, as well as prime and sub-prime servicing. His deep experience in core servicing, customer service, and default provide an intimate understanding of lender-placed insurance and its connectivity across the mortgage servicing ecosystem.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration/finance from St. John Fisher University.
