Starting in 2000, it underwent a long and meticulous restoration involving both the architectural structure and the interior decorative elements, enhancing the different construction phases and the numerous interventions carried out over the centuries. During the restoration work and archival research, anecdotes, curiosities, and surprises emerged, all of which can now be discovered along the visitor route.
