ABOUT THE EVENT
The Asian Development Bank (ADB), in partnership with the Ministry of Finance of Japan, will co-organize the Asia Pacific Digital Transformation Forum from 24 to 27 June 2025 at ADB Headquarters in Manila. The forum will follow a hybrid format with in-person and virtual participation.

This inaugural event, themed “Digital Technology for Transformation,” aims to assist emerging economies in leveraging digital technologies for development through innovation and collaboration. A highlight of the forum is the Digital Bridge Policy Dialogue: Ministerial Meeting with representatives from ADB DMCs, to be held in collaboration with the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation and the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program. The ministerial meeting aims to enhance regional cooperation on digital development and share best practices.

The forum will provide a rich environment for dialogue among ADB staff, government officials, industry experts, private sector leaders, and international development organizations on deploying digital technologies to spur inclusive and sustainable development.
Tech Trailblazer
Panel
The Tech Trailblazer Panel will discuss digital transformation in Asia and the Pacific with insights from public and private sector leaders. It will present ADB's vision, strategy, and approach to regional digital transformation. The panel aims to highlight opportunities, share lessons, and inspire collaboration for inclusive and sustainable digital transformation.
DIGITAL BRIDGE
POLICY DIALOGUE:
MINISTERIAL MEETING
WITH REPRESENTATIVES
FROM ADB DMCs
The Asia Pacific Digital Transformation Forum 2025 will bring decision makers from ADB member economies to explore digital solutions and innovative financing solutions for digital transformation projects, alongside public and private partners. The ministerial meeting, co-organized with Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program (CAREC) Digital Ministers and Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO), aims to enhance regional cooperation on digital development and share best practices.
Joint Ambition
At the conclusion of the ministerial meeting, a joint statement on the importance of Digital Transformation for development will be aimed to be issued to underscore the shared commitment to advancing digital transformation across the region. The ambition will affirm the importance of continued dialogue, policy coordination, and regional collaboration. To help translate these commitments into action, the potential establishment of a Strategic Advisory Committee is being considered. This high-level body, envisioned to comprise leaders from both the public and private sectors, would aim to provide strategic guidance to enhance ADB’s engagement in digital transformation across the region.
Digital Tech

Marketplace
The Digital Tech & Innovation Marketplace Exhibition provides a unique opportunity for ADB stakeholders and partners to showcase innovative digital solutions and initiatives to APDTF 2025 participants, especially those from ADB member countries. There is no cost to participate in the exhibit.

The marketplace will also allow the participants and exhibitors to network and discuss various solutions, platforms, and contributions. The marketplace will run from 25 to 26 June at the ADB auditorium 1 and 2. Exhibitors are to set up their booth in the afternoon of 24 June.
Google-ADB

The challenge is designed to train future developers to create solutions for real-world problems using AI technology; share inspiring stories with external parties such as policymakers and the media; position Asia and the Pacific as a hub for innovation; and enhance the collaboration between ADB and Google for future initiatives. Over 3,296 registrants registered by early April and will form teams of 4. Ten finalist teams will present their solutions at ADB Headquarters. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 25 June.
